We just had our 996 shipped off to its new owner in Massachusetts via DeMoise trucking. We can highly recommend the DeMoise guys as they are very professional and very well organized. Now, I can start looking for my next ex-P-car!!!

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

What is that next ex-P car? what are you talking about?
I just mean that I'll get another 911 and, after a few years of fun, I'll sell it and move on to yet another one! I've been looking at everything from another 996 (preferably with an aero kit) to either another 964 or a 993.
Ha ok ! that is nice. Since you had already a 964 and a 996, maybe a widebody 993?
I prefer trucking that does not stack the cars. Too much chance for leakage and spillage - of course if you have the top bunk...no worries!
You should buy my 996 C4 Aero so I can go buy a TT. or an Elise Sounds good!!
Red911- Can you PM me their contact number and cost?
I didn't really think about that since it's not my car anymore, but, I took more pictures (that I didn't post) and after your comments I reviewed those pictures and I saw that they had a tarp suspended over the lower cars. Zicoramone, my wife has been telling me that I should get a 993... My problem is that there are SO many 964's at bargain prices that I'm having a hard time deciding... I guess I could go 964/993 now and then two or three years later do a straight up trade for a rapidly depreciating 996 aero!
Tell me about it... I've got cash in hand...
I do like the whole car lift system - much better than ramps or partial lifts. Intercity picked up a car from me once to take it to its new owner. Every car that's on the bottom gets a car cover and then is plastic covered to prevent spills and leaks from damaging the cars on the bottom. Looked like a pretty decent system. Not gonna stop damage from a heavy object falling from top rack to bottom though.
man........that's all i can say.....
I have an Elise and it happens to be for sale.
Red911 - I have an '04 Lapis Blue over Graphite Gray C2 for sale. But is does not have an Aero Kit. 42K miles asking $52k but I am flexible in the pricing. Here is a link to the particulars: https://rennlist.com/forums/showpost...19&postcount=1
gota911, your car is great but it's above the price range that I can justify spending right now. We bought the turbo Pepper to haul our 5 month old son around and I need to be sort of conservative with the finances right now... I'm looking for cars, let's say, high 30's and under... Good luck with your sale!
I'm curious as to your reasoning in selling your 996, then looking possibly for another 996 (yes, 964 and 993 as well). Unless the 996 you're looking for is TT or C4S, why another 996? Color, problem car, etc?
Fair question. We sold the '91 964 and bought the 996 with a TIP so that the wife could drive it too... Therefore, since she can drive the turbo Pepper, I won't feel bad getting a 911 with a manual tranny.
OK, that makes sense. The stick 996's are more fun to drive, IMO. Hopefully, you didn't lose too much on the 996 given their rapid rate of depreciation.
