Well on our visit today we received a very nice gesture with Mr. Ruf showing off his new CTR3 and boy is it beautiful! Makes me want one, if only I had the money.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
24 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

tetzlafh was also at this event with a much better camera than me so hopefully he can post some much better shots, I am no expert and the pictures do not do the car justice!
wow, more pics needed for sure
Hopefully they will come, again I was not planning on taking any pictures then I heard this wonderful exhaust note and behind door number 1 here was the CTR3!
OK, you officially SUCK! I'm stuck in Bagdad and you're chatting with Alois? Great pics. We're all very envious.
Ugly, too much kitcar look for my taste. RUF has done better.................
Very nice pics! Thanks a bunch for sharing!
very nice indeed
968iniraq stay safe, have done 3 tours there so far. Just to make you think I suck more will drink a nice cold German beer for you tonight, you will be drinking a good cold one soon enough and not that 3 horse near beer Iraqi stff.
here is a rear shot
rountreed, Thanks for the beer thought. I've got a few more months before I can partake. There's another rennlister friend in Germany you might look up over on the 993 board, Leland Pate. He was with me in Montana for awhile. He has a nice 95 993. he's an Air Foce guy. Things are heating up over here, both literaly and figuratively. Say some prayers for our Comrades.
Every night! I meet a bunch of AF guys at this event he may of been there but too many people for me to remember everyone. I know at least 3 other guys who are on the Boxster and 993 board where there. Spent most of my time flying in and out of Balad.
Cool event rountreed! I'm sure that's something a real Porsche enthusiast will not forget; like a trip to Mecca for Muslim. For the CTR3: the car is obviously a technical masterpiece but design wise I think it's ugly and the interior looks to me like a Russian knocking shop.
I'm sure it's fast but the design is awful. Looks pieced together from other cars (and it is). As ugly as it fast I guess.
is there a rear view camera?
Not sure but with the current design I would think so.
BTW Rountreed, Nice Guardrail pic. Is that "your's?"
Well it actually belongs to the US Govt but yes have flown it many many times all over the world
Just have to know. Is the guardrail the plane in your avatar, and what is the stuff hanging off it. I'm guessing weather reading stuff. Thanks, cheers, and prayers to all those fighting Bush's war!
Yes and spy stuff.
King Air's Are pretty attractive until you put all those "drag" devices on it. It must be kind of a pig to fly up there at 29K. I've been at the receiving end of all that stuff many times. Keep collecting and we'll keep engaging! In fact, as we speak...
Is that a King Air? If so I've jumped those things SO many times. Couldn't tell wit all that stuff. Mullins was doing 7 mins. from rotate to 14,500 loaded. And although I never did ride it down they say the descent was worth a jump ticket- if you had a tough stomach. I've got lots of video of that thing passing tandems in freefall. I was the cameraman............
Is it just me or does the paint look flat? Poor lighting I suppose. I'd take a CGT any day over that.
