Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

What areas do you guys tape up for track days, if at all.

POST 2Original post

I personally do not tape up anything for DE events (maybe just too lazy) but other guys do usually tape up their front lights and the fender area behind the wheels.

POST 3Original post

Here are some pics from the professional photographer at our local track. You can see how many cars actually tape anything. The percentage is pretty small. Virtually no 996 or 997s tape anything. -td

POST 4Original post

Best not to get too carried away with the blue tape or you may end up like this guy.

Make sure you fully tape up the windshield so you don't get any chips in it
