My brother is buying an 06 Maserati spyder, 4200 next week. Any owners/future owners/previous owners here? What do you think? I like the ferrari engine but do not know much more than that. Any tips?

I considered the coupe`GT but hypothetically speaking, if I were to buy a maserati over a Porsche, It damn sure would be a Gransport.

Just spent a couple of track days at VIR with a friend with the 4200 coupe. I have a lighted moded '04 911 (Fabspeed, evo CAI, sportshifter, H&R sport springs) and he was NOT competitive on the North Course. Car was poor in the twisties and not any faster on acceleration. It WAS super cool on the interior but not a car that could compare to the 911 in a spirited drive.

i was amazed at the body flex on the spyder..i was in love with the interior,but i would not buy one.j
