Unfortunately, while replacing my Coolant Reservoir I nuked the lower coolant tuning clip (or harness). Now I have to decide whether or not I should go through the pain of replacing it (it appears to be screwed in from the bottom and would require removing the heat shield in that area which would take some time) or just tie wrap the tubing to the remnants of the clip (there is definitely enough there to get a solid and lasting hold). What would you do? Jeff

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Jeff: I gotta feel for ya. After reading your post about a puportedly easy coolant tank switch you've gone through hell replacing yours. I'll think twice before doing mine if I ever need one. I quess I'd remove the heat shields and take a look, but I bet it ain't an easy job. maybe you should take the easy way out and tie wrap it. If you do check it periodicly for chaffing so it does't crap-out later.
