Any advice for studded winter tires for a 1999 C4? Has anyone done that? I'll be driving in real winter conditions in Saskatchewan - so it's a lot of hard pack snow on all the streets for several months and temps of 0 to -30 C. If it gets colder I'll drive an alternate car I think. Lots of guys stud their tires, so I wonder if it has been done for a C4 before? Also - are there advantages to going with 17" wheels instead of 18"? You just get more rubber height with the 17" wheels right? Anything else to consider for 17" winter wheels and rubber?
