Yup, I found a nice Audi A6 4.2 liter V8. I took it out for a drive and WOW. It is light=kind of, has some aluminum body parts and LOTS of GO. My wife has an Allroad but the 300 HP from the A8 engine just RIPS! The swamp maples are starting to turn here up North and I wanted something between my Suburban and the C4S. You step on the gas and stuff happens quickly. If I had to own one car, it would probably be a toss up between the 4.2 and the Allroad with some mods. Audi made owning wagons cool again! The 4.2 boasts 25 MPG on the highway..........Stay tuned! Steve

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Aww, and I was so hoping someone had actually bought one of the actual four-door 928s There are a few (well, at least one) out there... I think maybe four or five? At least one is in the hands of the Porsche family.. Congrats, and good luck with the new car!
