Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
18 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Absolutely beautiful, but its missing a pedal which is a deal breaker for this kid.
And it's the best color!

I almost fainted when I saw what my recent purchase went for when new:
its a automatic. not worth a dollar to me

If I were in the market for a 996 turbo, Id accept an automatic. Of course Im keeping my manual coupe.

I don't think I could do it. I have an S3 that they didn't make in a manual version and while its still a great car something still feels missing.
It is beautiful...looks spectacular in white. I would take it with a PDK.

White cars are the best!!
Quotes source post: 16318237
I have to agree with you....my favorite colors are white and yellow....both are rare colors for 996s....all of my newer porsches have been white.

In my 50+ years on this planet I have owned and enjoyed a number of manual cars. Lotsa fun.... But at almost 6' 3" and a little tight in my car, I am content with a cruiser / convertible / automatic that seriously moves nicely when I put my foot down.
Beautiful car but not all original. Being a Tip is no biggie as it now has a lot of aftermarket support to make it fast or even faster than the newer turbo cars it's a matter of sending it to the right tuner. Seen them in the 9s with stock motor but with FBOs.
