I'm new to the forum but not new to rennlist. I just picked up a 40th Aniv 911 after having my 03 e46 M3 flat bedded to the BMW/Porsche dealership to get a flat tire replaced that wouldn't seal with the M-mobility system. I had some time before my wife picked me up so I test drove a 01 996 turbo and the 40th Aniv 911 with the x-51 option. Call me crazy, but I honestly liked the normally aspirated 911 over the turbo. It felt lighter and had a more linear power delivery. To each his/her own. Needless to say, the M3 stayed at the dealership and I drove home with a silly smile on my face in a new 911.
