Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Grrrrrr..... While washing my new (290 mi ) '04 Cab yesterday I noticed the painted emblem from the center of one wheel cap was missing. Wheel cap still there just the emblem is missing. It appears it was glued in place. I spoke to the sales manager and he seemed reluctant to believe it could happen. Stated in all his years selling Porsches it has never happened.

POST 2Original post

And I hope your response was "well there's a first time for everything, I'm getting a cup of coffee while you guys install a new $10 wheel cap on my $95,000 car."

POST 3Original post

He must not have seen many cars with the colored crest. I have seen several cars where the crest has come off the cap. Jeff
