Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

The real answer is I don't know. That being said, I was at my local dealer today dropping my car off for service and they have 5 in the back. I would think they would want to get rid of them... Roy
yep, it wasn't long before the milenium run was being discounted and they only made 911 of those instead of the 1964 of the 40th.
I hope so - DonnyJ
I bought mine fully loaded on the weekend before Christmas in STL and received about $8k off...but it took awhile. That's assuming of course, that a '02 CLK 55 cabriolet with 30k miles is only worth $45k. That seemed a bit on the low side to me, but the car "reeked of cigar smoke" according to the dealer...
Funny, but the price I paid last month for the anniversary car ($90k) was EXACTLY what I paid for prior 996, a C4 Millennium, in April of 2000. That car was purchased from Suncoast in Sarasota with about 1,200 miles on it. So far, the 40th anniversary car seems much more oriented to performance than the Mille did. I like it...
Dear wknopf How do you find it's performance compared to other P's you have driven? To me it seems awfully quick especially now that I've done 2500+ miles. Donny J
Just curious, would you not buy the car if they did not discount it. I used to **** and moan and spend days bickering over prices and shopping prices in different cities. It seemed like I ended up loosing more money in billing than I saved on the car. Anyone else every felt that way and there is something still satisfying about beating them down. I guess I am just getting old and losing my vigor.
