Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Had my 40th Anniversary car for a few weeks now. It really is the most beautiful 911 as most people who have seen one in the flesh seem to agree. The spec you get costs approx 2000$ less than a c2 coupe with all the extras the anniversary car has....thats not counting the slip diff or the turbo style front end which looks great. So you are getting a really good deal. The interior is in perforated natural grey GT leather the exterior Carrera GT metallic silver. This car was without doubt the best looker in the showroom contrary to some forum users views the wheels really make the car...the first thing anyone ever says to me is nice car LOVE THE WHEELS. With the x51, sports suspension, and limited slip diff this car is very very fast 0-60 4.6 secs stopwatch 4.6, 4.7, 4.6, 4.8, 4.7 and I aint a test driver....it's very much quicker than a C4s or a standard C2/4 and probably fractionally slower than a GT3 below 5000rpm it's the same remember the GT3 is a track *** road car with best figures at 6000+ rpm....and I mean by a hairsbreadth and unlike the GT3 it goes over bumps has full electric seats and a better interior with all the luxuries and toys Hope you like the pics Donny J

POST 15Original post

well mark, come on up and get one...you need a summer car to compliment your winter car

POST 16Original post

Hehe...in a perfect world, I'd have a CGT as a summer car

POST 17Original post

Well, is there anything, other than this being a perfect world, stopping us from getting this deal in by years end?

POST 19Original post

Well, there is one thing...I don't have half a million dollars for a car If you give me one for free, I can sign the papers by Dec. 31

POST 20Original post

BostonMark, What if several of us all go in on a CGT? Say maybe 50 of us who all go in $9-10K each. Then each of us gets the car for 1 week out of the year. Maybe Alfie will do that deal... Oh wait it is Dec 31st, we better get crack'n...
