I know this might sound like a stupid question, but has anyone installed/optioned their car with the Aluminium 3 Spoke steering wheel (as per the one on carnewal.com). My main concern of installing such a steering wheel would be the damage it would receive from rings or other metal objects that might be making contact with the steering wheel. I have the tendency of tapping on the steering wheel when I drive with my wedding band. Does it sound like a bad idea to make the change or is it quite durable? Also is the steering wheel thicker than the standard 3 spoke steering wheel? And my final question is there a Porsche part number for this steering wheel or is it an after market product?
