My wife and I were looking thru some old pictures when we came upon this little gem. She, my girlfriend at the time, took this picture in downtown Stuttgart around the Christmas holidays in 1987. The moment that I turned the corner and saw this parked in the street I knew that someday I�d own a 911 myself. Every time I drive my C4 I am thankful that I was able realize my dream. The way it looks and drives always brings a smile to my face. These cars are simply amazing, and I would feel the same even if I had the dreaded RMS issue. To me it is an honor to drive this car. Furthermore, this site has been invaluable to me. I have learned so much from the other members. A day doesn�t go by that I learn something new about these cars. I also blame my fellow members for giving me the �mod bug�. The 996 board�s slogan should be �Mods, there is no cure� instead of �Porsche, there is no substitute�.
