Hi gurus, I should have posted a picture, but you can probably tell me without. I have a 2002 996. On the front of the convertible top, there are 2 "pegs" (1 on the left side and 1 on the right side) that when you close the convertible top fit into the front of the top of windshield. There is a little plastic cover on the pegs. The passenger side cover is cracked and I'd like to replace this. I went through a set of PDF manuals, but I can't figure out what the part # is. Can someone help me identify the part # and point me to what manuals I should be using to identify part #'s ? Thanks, Ward

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Oh, and it looks like there is a different part for the left and right sides.
