Yeah. I already emailed the dealership with a friendly correction. Looks like he is trying to price it as a C4S. http://raleigh.craigslist.org/ctd/4109488391.html

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Lots of cosmetic mods, like the Carrera S badge...
Seems about 8 grand over priced for the difference between mine and that one. Mine is a 99 cab (had for almost 3 years) with hard top, 18 inch wheels, C2 manual, 3.4 engine not 3.6, 3 spoke steering wheel and everything that goes with it. 45000 on the clock at the time of buying for $27000. I can't see the justification of such a high price. That's all. Just observing and commenting. If you have so much to spend you can do better than that.
20" wheels and subwoofers......bleh.
It's the RARE C2S with a V6 and Factory chrome 20" wheels. That right there is worth the 8 grand.
An interesting reply just now from the dealership to my 'correction.' HELLO, THIS IS TODD PUCKETT AT 4042 MOTORS IN GARNER, NC. THANK YOU FOR YOUR INFORMATION ON THIS VEHICLE. THE PRICE OF THIS VEHICLE HAS BEEN LOWERED TO REFLECT THE CHANGE IN VALUE. IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS, OR IF YOU WOULD BE INTERESTED IN THIS VEHICLE AT THE LOWER PRICE, PLEASE FEEL FREE TO GIVE ME A CALL AT (919)772-4042, AND BE SURE TO ASK FOR TODD WHEN YOU CALL. 1. Actually encouraging - if he is talking about lowering the price rather than the current price being lowered previously. 2. Price has not changed on the dealer's site or on CL... but he did just send the email. 3. Hope they did not pay wholesale or trade thinking it was a C4S 4. Love the all caps Todd.
I like that spoiler that's on there. Which one is that? Also, I'm surprised that those 20s actually look halfway decent. I wouldn't want them on my car, but it doesn't make me want to gouge my eyes out either.
Woof...
When you're listing fog lamps as a feature...

Dealer's site now $29,950 but still no mileage.
I recommended he remove the S badge and the fender crest decal. Interesting that he seems to have not realized what the car was... or actually was not.
Maybe I should slap a "GT3" emblem on the back and go there and see if they offer to buy it at a premium.

That just might work if I paint the calipers green.
