Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

After 10 years I decided to update the rear a little bit, I found a great deal on a used wing, it needed some work, but I love how it turned out. I added the new Porsche logo and also changed out the 3rd lights to tinted LED's Enjoy! This was my old Mashaw one..

POST 3Original post

I knew it would be a matter of time before someone said it.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Oh boy, is it a members only club? Do tell!

POST 5Original post

Very pretty car. Your mods definitely make the car look younger than 99.

POST 6Original post

Beautiful car. I think you're missing one or two decals.

POST 7Original post

Hi Kevin, I'm not a big fan of the taco wing, but your car is beautiful

How did you get the front LED lights on the spoiler? Is it a 2005+ spoiler?

POST 11Original post

Hey you lot:- as we say in the UK.. **** off haha. I love it. 911 P O R S C H E. But you are missing something 'Carrera'. No you can't have that, its spoken for. All joking apart that is one sweet looking cab. Well done.

POST 12Original post

The tinted LED tails are awesome - cheap way to update the look. I'm not a fan of the taco wing either, but your car looks fantastic. It all pulled together nicely.

That front bumper is a replica Techart for a 997 TT, the LEDs are factory from a TT, I had them changed out to white instead if the factory orange.

POST 14Original post

What did you have to do to get the taco wing installed?

POST 15Original post

That looks great Kevin. Love the overall look

POST 16Original post

Looks good. It could easlily fool non-Pcar aficionados as a much newer 911. But you do have a lot of mods going on there. All the pieces go well with the set-up... Wheels, side skirts, front/rear bumper (sans bumperettes), and Rear wing. And in shiny black, even classier. Is the Taco wing a mashaw piece or from another manufacturer? How close does the Cab clamshell clear it? The rear badging would pry look better with just the 911, but the front headlights scream vintage Boxster., not that there's anything wrong with that. How's the sound? Gotta have some exhaust mods to go with that look.

Not much since my prior wing was a fixed wing as well, there is a mod so that you don't get the error for when the wing is deployed. Aside from that I just swapped out my existing brackets and it was good to go. Thanks!, not sure who made the Taco wing, Mashaw doesn't. It comes within 15MM of the clamshell. Sound is OEM sport exhaust, I like the new Porsche font Haven't decided, you interested in it?

See I always thought the taco wing wouldn't clear the clamshell for the top. That's interesting and good to know. Thanks!

Let me clarify that, this wing isn't OEM, its specifically made for the cab, the separation between the taco is not as tall as the factory piece.

Ah that explains it, thanks!

POST 22Original post

Haven't decided, you interested in it?[/QUOTE] Possibly. I've done the front and side skirts, but need to do the rear. I like the factory spoiler, but the price is ridiculous. Which one is it? Is it black or black metallic? How much are you looking for?

POST 23 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

ERS 996 wing from Mashaw http://mashaw.com/html/product_info.html $1150 new, so $750 is fair, Shipping something that size across the US won't be easy.
