Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

What are the chances this is a Sachs clutch in a different box? http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/de...1351&ppt=C0015 I looked up the one for the 02-05 models and it says Sachs on the clutch in the picture but the price is higher on that one than the Sachs on ebay. I just called the local store and they will have one in tomorrow. If it has Sachs stamped on it then I will take it, otherwise I will probably not.

POST 2Original post

Pretty good chance. Years ago I had a 1973 Lincoln Mercury Capri with the Belgium made 2.6ltr V6. Chester NJ had an Imported parts place across the street from a "NAPA" store. The Bosch condenser was ~$28 at the Import store. I went across the street and bought the same Bosch condenser in a "NAPA" box for ~$3.50.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I picked it up today and it is all Sachs parts. I am having a little trouble finding the part numbers for each individual part in the Sachs kit but as far as I can tell it is all the same as what you get in a Sachs box.
