I just realized that I have never posted pictures of my car with the exception of the one in my introduction post, after owning it for a summer and attending a few local shows I have some to share. The car is dirty in some of the pics I apologize. My favorite has to be the last, the focus wasn't my car but I was able to race a Cayman R on the road course in Omaha, it was legal "street racing" on the straight from a stop during The Ice Cream Cruise 2013, it was a blast, couldn't quite hold off the Cayman but it was worth it.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Definitely cool! I like the color...if you don't mind investing the money, try to get ahold of a pro detailer to do some paint correction for you. I'm sure the carwash/buffer marks would clean up just fine. Sorry to nit-pick, just know you would love the results. Glad to see you actually enjoying the car unlike so many.
Thats been the plan, it is in desperate need of something. I enjoy the color haven't seen many like it, or another one at all if truth be told, but I also haven't looked.
There are a few but it wasn't a common color. Someone who is handy with a buffer could get it looking brand new, but someone who thought they were good but wasn't could also end up ruining your paint so you have to be careful. Under the "Perf. & Comp." section there is a concours forum which has tons of information on paint care and correction. Maybe someone there knows a good detailer in your area.
I have a buddy in town here that is very good at cleaning up the paint I have been meaning to talk to him and get it done.
Check out the other thread where he pulled sub 14s 1/4 with an early '99. Who gives a crap about the paint. How did you finish against the cayman ?
It was set up for the 1/8 mile, but on the road course you can stay in it untill the first corner which has gotta be around 1/4. I was a little overzealous with the launch and smoked them off the stop, even had to dial in some countersteer, still was able to out launch him but that car was quicker by the 1/8 my front bumper was at his quarter, and when we got out of it he had a solid cayman length between our bumpers. The noise that thing made was glorious.
great pics!
Thanks for the pics. Sounds like you had a blast.
It was a ton of fun, the Ice Cream Cruise is put on by 1320video and every year it gets a lot bigger, check out youtube videos to find out who they are or what the Ice Cream Cruise is all about.
Great looking car!! Love the green, really don't see to many. I think some gold fuchs on it would look amazing
Hopefully this winter I can save some cash for wheels and coils.
Kins, nice car! It is a rare and I believe special order color. I have the exact same car here in Louisiana. I've only owned it for about two months so I don't have pics yet but I'll post some when I get a chance. Yours is he first I've seen that has the same forest green metallic w/ savannah interior. What interior options does yours have?
I have seriously no comfort options but I believe all the sport ones, sport seats, lsd, traction control etc. My car didn't even come with a cd player haha. The guy I bought mine from said the paint was a special order or something about it not being offered on a 99' but mine has it, I didn't take it to serious because he was using it as a selling point so I guess I don't really know. Either way I have grown to love the color combo. Post some pictures I have only seen one other one but it was a newer twin turbo on cars.com. I have owned mine for almost a year and love it.
Here ya go Kins, one other Forest Green metallic P-car with a tape deck.
Love the color. Very nice car.
Nice! Looks like I made out with a few more "sport" options. I have no rear wiper though haha. The whole tape deck thing blows my mind I feel like CD should have been standard on a car that MSRP's close to $70k
That color green really cleans up nice
