Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I'm replacing my clutch and this part is labeled as a "pivot piece". My Bently service manual doesn't mention it nor does the online manual at Alldata. I couldn't find any pics and it's been a few months since I removed it: Is this part properly installed? It doesn't really snap in place as it appears it should and kinda' flops around. I'm sure it would be held in place after the release lever is installed but it just seems odd. photo(9).JPG

POST 2 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Nevermind. This is the part that is no longer required with the updated release lever per TSB 7/00 3041 Date: 1-20-06.
