Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi, I am looking for pictures of the part #17 below installed in of the cabriolet rear drain pans. I have already cleaned the drain pan and also cleared the debris in the rear well and noticed that some cars have this part but mine did not. I have already purchased the parts and am ready to install. These might be photos behind the speaker in the rear of the car, but anything would be welcome. Your help is welcome!

POST 2Original post

That little card you ordered is just to keep drain water coming down the tube from splashing on the back of the speaker. I need to clean out my own drains so I went out and took a couple pics. There's one fully seated, one where I lifted it up about a half inch so you can see more of the drain tube, and finally the part fully removed. You can see when its fully removed the shadow from where it was mating up against the tray.

Thank you so much! This is exactly what I needed! Have a great day!

POST 4Original post

You're welcome. I've already been in there restoring my hydraulics and knew exactly what I was looking for. Between your request and Yogi's video cleaning out his cab drains I've been meaning to go clean mine out. I found water under the passenger seat once after a wash. Now I know why. They perform flawlessly now. This is the kind of garbage I found. Can you guess how well the passenger side was draining with a 2"3" plastic bag laying in the bottom of the tray? I only wish I had the sense to clean all that out when I was doing the hydraulics!

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thats incredible! It happened to me once, but it was just crud, cant imagine a bag in there!
