Here folks, The verdict is in. Needs tires. A small amount of wetness near the RMS, but the dealer said that it should be driven for awhile first as the car only has 25K on the odo. The car has only seen 2500 miles a year. It needs to be driven. Personally, I don't mind the issue. The deal I worked out on this car is WELL worth the slight aggrevation. TRUST ME!! Once I pick up the car, I will post what I find and the details on the transaction. I have this feeling, it may not be as bad as the dealer said. ( I got this impression, they wanted me to say "Yes, fix it! I'll pay anything!) Nope sorry. This guy only trusts one other person to work on his car. That person is not this yo-yo on the phone. One question though. With a car like this with only 24,900 miles...could I get an extended warranty from Porsche? Thanks for all the answers from previous posts. I look forward to the trip home. cheers, Chad

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Congrats on the car! I am not sure about getting a warranty from Porsche, but you can get a third-party warranty that will cover all or most of your concerns. That's what I did.
Hey Jon.... Where did you get the third party warranty from? I saw a few online, but I thought they were questionable. Any suggestions? Thanks, Chad
Chad, I got mine from the dealer I bought the car off of (Huntingridge Motorsports in CT)... Seeing that you aren't around my area, I would suggest picking something locally. Yeah, I tried getting a warranty from the internet and they were rather sketchy with their coverage. Also, they didn't offer many shops that could work on my car that are close by. Did you try calling a local Porsche dealer? I'm sure they could offer a place that warranties 911s locally.
