Hello everyone, just joined as I'm in the process of searching for a 996 Turbo to call my own and this site (along with 6SpeedOnline) appear to be the main places I need to be.
I've been researching on my own, but I'd love to meet/chat with local owners to get first-hand knowledge/experience with ownership & if the owner is so gracious to give a demo ridealong. Also to help expand my search network (someone always knows someone who is selling or considering selling).
I'm right by O'Hare in the Des Plaines/Rosemont/Park Ridge area, for reference.
I look forward to joining the Porsche family, but I know the search will likely take some time for the right car.
