What do people do to stop the carpet at the driver's side from sliding? My carpets have a velcro patch which mates with a velcro plastic piece attached to the floor with a friction joint. It really doesn't work very well with my driving style which features much foot movement, clutch action, and throttle. The carpet releases from the velcro and works its way up under the clutch. Very annoying. Any good solutions out there? Thanks Rick

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I am willing to bet the velcro is worn out after 20 years and just replacing it may solve your issue. You could also just remove the velcro and tack the carpet down with spray adhesive.
