Someone recently took to throwing egg on my wife's car. We were out of town and didn't notice till it baked on in 95+ heat for 2 weeks. I could get it off, and the gas station car wash with brushes also did nothing (It's a Honda I though I'd try) Any advice before I pay a detailer to power wax it out?

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

With the egg sitting in the sun for 2 weeks...I'm afraid it's already done damage to the clearcoat and paint. I guess getting the dried egg residue off is not so much a problem compared to the damage/stain to the paint finish. I'm sure if you are patient, it should come off with lots of gentle scrubbing with soap & water. Then, depending on the damage, perhaps a polish could bring back the shine.
