Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Guys i'm trading in my targa for a TT. It's being shipped now and might get here by the 26th of Jan and I can't wait for it It's going to be Basalt Black with black leather inside and it's got a Tiptronic. I didn't order the car but it coming with most of the options I want anyway and I got a good deal on it so I don't think I'll pass up the chance to own a TT. I know I've been out of the loop here for a while, been busy with other stuff but missed being here and chatting with the diffrent ppl alot. I learned alot here and I'll continue to learn more stuff ( seems I still didn't get the arguemnt about how un-manly the Tip is LOL ) So, to some, I am commiting two sins, the first is buying a Tip TT and the second is waiting to take delivery of a Cayenne S I'll miss the targa alot, it's been a great car but hopefully it'll go to someone who'll take care of it as well as I did Like someone else here, I was debating between getting a GT3 or going for the TT. I guess what made me get the TT is the fact that i will be driving the car on a daily basis and the GT3, while being a great car, is more track focused then the TT. The 996 forum is the best in my opinion, and the guys here are just plain great

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanx Fadz, looking forward to it I am aware of only three 964 that were sold here. None are up for sale as far as I know, one is a cream-puff 94 with only 3k's on it and is in showroom condition. I tried making an offer on it but the guy wouldn't sell it On the 993 front, there's a pearl white targa, 97 or 98, I'm not sure. It's got about 98k's on it but it's on Saudi plates.
