Hi, Went to adjust the height of my seat belt and the cheap plastic cover fell off, 2 hours of attempting to snap it back in place and no luck. Now the cover is trashed, the thin metal bracket it is supposed to snap onto is mangled, this piece of metal is THIN. It bends VERY easily, so so disappointed right now. Now everything will need to be replaced. Thanks

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Mines have the same problem, they are cheap POS parts. I see yours is a 03 so get a replacement under warranty.
Mine has come off many times too. They can be reattached quite easily if you're careful and line it up properly. The thin metal part can be bent back into shape if you're gentle with it and apply pressure gradually.
good thing your car is relatively new still, should be covered under warantty. of course, as with capitalism, they won't fix these things until it starts to siphon their sales. for example: with my boxster i was adjusting the seats and the handle simply came off in my hand..., same with the glovebox... oh well, i still love them all
