So I may or may not be killed for asking such question on here, BUT... On my 996 3.4l engine the FPR is the common VAG type regulator, set to 3.8 bar. This costs about $180 on the different websites, so my question is as following... why should i not replace a faulty FPR with the 4 bar VAG type that cost $20-30? Would it be such a bad idea? Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
