Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hello, I have a 1999 996 with the 17b inch Boxster twists. They are horrible and I bought my buddies 5 spoke 18 inch staggered wheels off his 2003 996. They will fit right? The backs are way wider but they should be the same fitment from '99 to '03 right? Buying $600.00 tires for the back tomorrow so do not want the surprise that they don't fit. Thank you

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Awesome, I can't wait to see it with the new wider stance

POST 5Original post

Yeah this, Turbo/Widebody and 4wd to 2wd requires some spacers I believe

POST 7Original post

This is true.. when I say it will fit, I'm telepathically seeing this wheel when you say 2003 5-spoke since you referred to your OE wheel as a twist. If it's this wheel it will fit. This was the OE wheel on my car which is an 03 Carrera.

POST 8Original post

that's a great wheel. Known as an my02. I have always liked them for their Simplicity and lightweight.

POST 9 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

yes, those are the ones. Just got new rubber for the back wheels at the tune of $300 a piece. Yikes. Good thing I only driver her now and again.
