Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi All, I recently purchased this 03 996, my first Porsche after many years of wanting. Pretty high mileage at 130K, but otherwise a nice FL car. I do have a Cyl 3 misfire and am about to do coils and plugs to deal with that (hopefully) and general maintenance. Had a look under tonight noticed this oil leak on the drivers side. Wondering if anyone can help ID the source? Any ideas most appreciated! Thank-you in advance.

POST 2Original post

Right above that is the AOS. It is probably cracked and blowing oil.

POST 3Original post

That would be my first guess. It looks like coming from above. Pretty hard to do.
