Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I know that there a few companies that do the ecu upgrade/remapping. For the most part they all seem to fall within the same hp increase. I was curious however to know which is the best, i.e. delivers the most power over the entire usable powerband? I know that with s4's there are a bunch of chips, and some actually produce more hp, but as stated before the best is always the one that produces more hp and mainly torque over the entire powerband. Thanks. I think it will help the other thread as well as it seems the best power mod is the ecu as the intake and exhaust don't produce nearly as much for the money. thanks.
