Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

My ‘07 Cabrio roof is now 17 years old. A lot of moving parts as the roof retracts and closes. I have not seen mentioned anywhere about any kind of routine maintenance for the roof mechanism. Lube points or what product to use? I am not having any issues or problems but I don’t want any either.

POST 2Original post

There is a pretty good thread on Rennlist (am I allowed to say that here)? It's called "How to properly maintain convertible top"

POST 6Original post

I had a leak in one of the hydraulic arms last year. found a place in Florida that refurbished them for half the price of one new one. if its a job you want/need to tackle i can walk you through it. not good enough at taking videos and editing them
