Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi Everyone, I am looking to remove a dashcam from my 911 996 registered in 2000 and the cable goes behind a pillar(see photo), how do I remove the cover so I can get the cable out? Many Thanks for all of your help.

POST 2Original post

I extracted this from a DIY in the Technical Articles section. Hope it helps.

POST 3Original post

On my Cayman the A pillar could be taken off by pulling away the door seal and getting a trim removal tool under the edge. The trim could then be popped off.

POST 4Original post

Carefully start at the edge and gently pull the cover away from the pillar to release the clips, working gradually along its length.

POST 5Original post

If you can upload the photo, I can point out exactly where I would start and how I’d remove that particular trim piece. Trees Hate You
