This Oil line is leaking. Has any one does this job before? 2000 996 carrera? While im in there I will replace this valve as well. My biggest concern is where does that hose connect into the engine. And also if I need to remove the AC compressor.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

What hose is this? Oil is leaking from it. I assume there's a small crack/hole. I need to replace it. See the picture. The oil is leaking right where the hard line and soft hose come together. It's the hose in front (furthest from the back of the car...1/2 inch further from the back of the car than the hose next to it.) Thanks for your help.
Maybe the front seal for the front drive shaft?
Thanks guys. I think it may be the water line with a small leak. The water is mixing with the oil that's built up over the years...
spray it will brake cleaner, look for leak when fresh markski
