My cool 996 Story... Since FB marketplace is the last place for classifieds now.. I hate using it. But no choice. I drove a silver 1999 996 for 10yrs+ has my daily beater and got it to 159K ... most reliable 911 i ever had. and had almost every 911,the 996 Never left me broken down! I sold it in 2014 to an Amry Kid for peanuts. Pcar dealer only would give me 5K for trade in in 2014..lol.. FB pushing a 1999 996 C2 Silver/Black on me every day in my feed. Finally, I messaged the old guy and asked about PPI, Maintenace etc. etc.. He knew nothing, it has 165K now, I ask for the vin, and omg it was my old silver 996 A decade went by, and nobody drove it. .. I think it had the same Tires i put on it even? I had to buy it back and bring her home. Got it back and its exactly the same car. Nothing has changed, Tires, Battery, mats, old XM wiring , everything Crazy lucky I feel .. Question with the 1999 996 ,. I need a touchscreen with Sat nav XM and phone Bluetooth.. What will be the newest in dash system with the correct bezel and size with factory look now? In CT 1999 is an antique classic now. hahaha. I am getting old. Thanks

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Porsche PCCM (single DIN) and PCCM Plus (Double DIN). Expensive, but they look nice.

Kenwood DNX 908S added front and rear cameras best system I ever had in a car

Thanks Guys. It is a fantastic feeling! I have Re=matched engines with my old 911's my entire life via the Internet 65 in Europe. ... quite a few early S 's engines and even the 3.1L rare engine. I really like the 996-driving b compared to the 991S .. don't even like the 991S now (with every button) I think the 996 it's faster on back roads too Just need the tech in the center console!!! Nobody figured out the best system to upgrade in the antique 996 Vehicle yet? That Kenwood looks awesome but newer Kenwood's models are available now
Anyone Have this system? is it plug and play with factory and XM wiring? Can I hook Rear/front Camera to this system? Sounds good? thanks Porsche Classic Radio (996/986) : Suncoast Porsche Parts & Accessories (suncoastparts.com)
