Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
11 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.
- Rennlist: 1 discussions
0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.
0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Thanks Phil. Excellence, hagerty, panorama, bat, craigslist, PCA mart, facebook, rennlist mart, etc have all varied from each other but that helps to create a range nevertheless. Just like you. I am not looking to sell, buts it's always fun to look at the market nevertheless. The 996 Turbo is still a huge bargain.
the past 4 year been a sellers' market on roids . .. if you have cars in your name you are doing the hobby total wrong.

Whose name should they be in?
What's a 2002 Targa six speed with 73k miles on the chassis and a 2.7t Audi engine (Renn27 kit) with 72K at apx 450hp. $40k?

Perhaps dporsche74 means that having a car in your name means you've not sold it and have passed on the opportunity to make money and get back into ownership (and thus the hobby) after the prices have dropped.
Gotcha. You certainly don't buy a 20+ year old Porsche or any car if you want to make money. There is a giant sucking sound that comes from them and it's not the air intake.
I think our 996s have reached an age when each car has its own value based on so many items, mileage, condition, maintenance history, color, etc. Nothing new all previous models have gotten to this point. A sold price range is a good starting point but if a particular car speaks to you write the check and enjoy the ride😀 Rich
