Hey guys... took Mr.Choi's advice and went and bought myself a 997 cab. loving it... but for some reason i can't get over my 996 c4s. so i guess i'll end up keeping her too. So now i can put the 20's on the 997 and go back to 18;s on the c4s.

POST 3Original post

I've only had my car for two months and been exercising it regularily. My 17 yr old daughter driving it at a recent auto-x:

The day I got her VS with Turbo front bumper and TechArt side skirts. Need a rear wing though, any ideas??

POST 9Original post

Quotes source post: 1841027

Quote: u def would benefit from a wing to balance it out. if i were u i'd get the techart whale tale wing, but not sure if it fits narrowbody cars. also, consider adding the c4s/turbo front aero lip like mine. or consider the misha wings.

SS22, the windows are very cool, no pun intended. Hope the door tint is ok with the CHP. Yours is one of the few cars I've seen where the window tints actually fit perfectly with the overall look of the car. Cheers, jl

POST 26Original post

Looking much cleaner Swift.... Swift was nice enough to take me for a ride to check out the PSS9 and sways. She is a tight car. Let us know how the evom and bypasses work out...

POST 27Original post

Yeah Ben, good seeing your ride too. I'm probably going to wait a little while to do the upgrades...get a few more miles on the new engine. Well, I don't know...we will see. I rode in (Berks) "boochook" C4S with the Bypass and it was furious, sounded incredible. I'm looking forward to doing it too.

POST 28Original post

Swift, great tint look. and the silver 911 also looks great...I remember that thread. cheers!

POST 30Original post

I like the standard exhaust tips even more than the turbo tips. I'll likely change over in the future. looks good....

POST 34Original post

Well, might as well.. here is how my 99 c2 looks.. will be getting a GT# front bumper and side skirt one day, and really want a techart wing.. pics: I know, my wing is up.. I did a picture with it up, and one with it down, but i can't find the other one.. looks better with it down imo..

At 19 I had rebuilt a 74 AMC Javlin AMX 401CI engine with 375hp. That was a trafficlight racer.

POST 44Original post

19? I remember 19, sort of anyway. '62 Chevy Impala, black/red, chrome reversed, dual exhaust, and, best of all, that big glorious back seat. wish I had a picture available... it was a Detroit iron special all the way.

POST 56Original post

caps, very pretty car. I love the Work Brombachers. have you considered getting that bottom lower lip piece to help with keeping the front down at speed? i think it looks good, too, in black. for some reason it adds to a more aggressive look in a good way.

POST 57Original post

Thanks Ben...used to have the lip, but my driveway (not me! ) dragged and dismantled her. Even without the lower lip my bumper still scrapes occasionally (damn driveway )

POST 58Original post

Really? I think I'm lower and further out than your front lip and I have no issues ... errr rarely have any issues. it's the center part of the car that gives me trouble sometimes over crests on the road in parking lots etc.

POST 59Original post

Maybe it's my driving skills (or absence of it) . There's 3 places around here that's enough to keep me from installing another lip - my son's school parking (a 90 degree turn with elevated entrance), my driveway, and the gas station entry.

POST 60Original post

cap'sx51, That is the best 996 C2 I have seen! Very tasteful mods.

POST 62Original post

Thanks for the compliment nine9six...I can't afford an upgrade so I just maintain her best I could . Oh, and Ben, check out the lower lip (or should I say the ex lower lip)

POST 63Original post

you're right bro that is fuqin low, but it looks good. for some reason the front doesn't look right w/o it. ahhhh welll.. you do it for your kids, right?

POST 65Original post

My 996 before facelift, pics of after coming.. (I was only able to post em like this)

POST 66Original post

Thanks Raz5219...Not sure where it was purchased as I bought the car with the kit already installed. I found this car after ONE YEAR (yes one year) of searching. I had near purchases of a slant nose, 930 turbo, and a 993. This was the only type (996) I wasn't looking to buy...go figure

Here are a few pics of my C2 I plan on doing a few mods in the next month, I already have the Pss9 installed, Computer Flash, K&N, Short Shifter, Allum Pedals & sil plates,Areo Kit Going to do. Plenum, PSE, Forgiato Rims, new front bumber, Pioneer Navi,

POST 72Original post

Thanks Guys!! i think with the new Gemballa Front bumper it will make it look even better, and not so BOXSTER looking. The Forgiato rims will just be a bonus! kinda like this look..

POST 73Original post

Lowering the 911 gives it a whole nother profile. I love the look. And yes, a new front end will set it off.
