2014 911 : Intermittent problem. With auto stop/start engaged, sometimes when it shuts the engine off, it restarts immediately. When this is happening, the heater does not blow hot air, just air or A/C. When the auto stop/start begins working properly again, the heater works. Seems like there is a sensor problem here. Any suggestions what could be causing these two connected issues?

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hi I have had this problem too when using an after market lithium iron phosphate battery - and the battery gets too hot or too cold. What i found to prevent the high heat issue is to have more air going through the cabin - which pulls from the battery compartment. I have coded the for a lithium iron battery but im guessing its not happy with the resistance it was expecting so goes to a safe mode - no auto stop cooling fans on full and no a/c or heater.
