My mom told me I needed to buy a new car and wanted me to buy a civic, I was barely able to strecth it to a Spec V Sentra, which was pretty gay but it did the job. POST 11Original post

caps, very pretty car. I love the Work Brombachers. have you considered getting that bottom lower lip piece to help with keeping the front down at speed? i think it looks good, too, in black. for some reason it adds to a more aggressive look in a good way.

POST 12Original post

Thanks Ben...used to have the lip, but my driveway (not me! ) dragged and dismantled her. Even without the lower lip my bumper still scrapes occasionally (damn driveway )

POST 13Original post

Really? I think I'm lower and further out than your front lip and I have no issues ... errr rarely have any issues. it's the center part of the car that gives me trouble sometimes over crests on the road in parking lots etc.

POST 14Original post

Maybe it's my driving skills (or absence of it) . There's 3 places around here that's enough to keep me from installing another lip - my son's school parking (a 90 degree turn with elevated entrance), my driveway, and the gas station entry.

POST 15Original post

cap'sx51, That is the best 996 C2 I have seen! Very tasteful mods.

POST 17Original post

Thanks for the compliment nine9six...I can't afford an upgrade so I just maintain her best I could . Oh, and Ben, check out the lower lip (or should I say the ex lower lip)

POST 18Original post

you're right bro that is fuqin low, but it looks good. for some reason the front doesn't look right w/o it. ahhhh welll.. you do it for your kids, right?

POST 20Original post

My 996 before facelift, pics of after coming.. (I was only able to post em like this)

POST 21Original post

Thanks Raz5219...Not sure where it was purchased as I bought the car with the kit already installed. I found this car after ONE YEAR (yes one year) of searching. I had near purchases of a slant nose, 930 turbo, and a 993. This was the only type (996) I wasn't looking to buy...go figure

POST 27Original post

Thanks Guys!! i think with the new Gemballa Front bumper it will make it look even better, and not so BOXSTER looking. The Forgiato rims will just be a bonus! kinda like this look..

POST 28Original post

Lowering the 911 gives it a whole nother profile. I love the look. And yes, a new front end will set it off.

Quote: aha, if by SC you really meant 911SC I do have one for sale. With original Fuchs rims. I like the look with the black rims...it seems to preserve the look of the older Porsche cars. but, on the other hand, the chrome rims shown several posts ago are very attractive to me for my 2003. You've got a super aggressive look on the car. I like it. jl

POST 67Original post

Jason... looking good! we have almost the same setup... and like yours a special edition.

POST 68Original post

Aha!! My bump paid off! Awesome pics Redridge, and Jason, your's is now one of my favorite 996s. I love the way it looks, black wheels with seal is the way to go. I saw that combination on Richard Hammond's 911 on Top Gear (he has a polished lip but whatever) and loved it ever since. Superb.

POST 73Original post

Redridge- I LOVE everything you've done to your 996 As far as the rollbar goes, are you able to retain your rear seat? Not that they'd be useful with the rollbar anyway

POST 74Original post

Quotes source post: 1959932

Quote: You can leave the seats in with the roll bar with no issues... but like you said they are unusable, so I just pulled them out for the weight savings... I do like the looks better with seats back there.
