Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 5Original post

My 996 before facelift, pics of after coming.. (I was only able to post em like this)

POST 6Original post

Thanks Raz5219...Not sure where it was purchased as I bought the car with the kit already installed. I found this car after ONE YEAR (yes one year) of searching. I had near purchases of a slant nose, 930 turbo, and a 993. This was the only type (996) I wasn't looking to buy...go figure

POST 12Original post

Thanks Guys!! i think with the new Gemballa Front bumper it will make it look even better, and not so BOXSTER looking. The Forgiato rims will just be a bonus! kinda like this look..

POST 13Original post

Lowering the 911 gives it a whole nother profile. I love the look. And yes, a new front end will set it off.

Quote: aha, if by SC you really meant 911SC I do have one for sale. With original Fuchs rims. I like the look with the black rims...it seems to preserve the look of the older Porsche cars. but, on the other hand, the chrome rims shown several posts ago are very attractive to me for my 2003. You've got a super aggressive look on the car. I like it. jl

PSS9's, GT3 Swaybars, Tarett Links, CCW C10 Wheels, MPSC Tires, Porsche Harness/Roll Bar, Porsche Cloth Seats & 6pt Harness, Pagid Yellow pads, SS Brake Lines and Motul RBF600 fluid, all the track days I can afford.

POST 52Original post

Jason... looking good! we have almost the same setup... and like yours a special edition.

POST 53Original post

Aha!! My bump paid off! Awesome pics Redridge, and Jason, your's is now one of my favorite 996s. I love the way it looks, black wheels with seal is the way to go. I saw that combination on Richard Hammond's 911 on Top Gear (he has a polished lip but whatever) and loved it ever since. Superb.

POST 54Original post

Hey Red, You still rollin' with the Iforged???

POST 55Original post

Quotes source post: 1958598

Quote: Nikon D3, Mk1 Aero, sport design wheels, roll bar, etc... nice job and nice ride. you got a ton of stuff i like!

POST 58Original post

Redridge- I LOVE everything you've done to your 996 As far as the rollbar goes, are you able to retain your rear seat? Not that they'd be useful with the rollbar anyway

POST 59Original post

Quotes source post: 1959932

Quote: You can leave the seats in with the roll bar with no issues... but like you said they are unusable, so I just pulled them out for the weight savings... I do like the looks better with seats back there.

Quote: Thanks. That's the only one I have from that day. It was taken by someone else at a recent Porsche run and they where nice enough to send it to me. The great thing about it was I spent a lot of time that week detailing/polishing the car. The picture captured some of that hard work which is not easy with a silver car.
