Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

14 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

This is just the result of summer driving on reasonably nice days since April this year

POST 2Original post

Thats a lot of detritus for a single annum! You could add some radiator guards, tje mesh in front of the rads.

POST 3Original post

Crackers not to have some form of guards on these.

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I think i'll look into getting something sorted before i put the bumper back on now. Alex is yours just covering half the opening, do you have a better pic?

Write-up: Thread 'DIY Ice Saver' 11 Jul 2014 Hi, After fitting new condensers last month and doing a 2K mile trip next week thought it'd be a good idea to try and preserve the life of them. Did a DIY mesh guard today with a couple of mesh sheets I bought off eBay for £15.47. Looks quite good and should stop any nasty stones puncturing the rads. See photos below. I opted for these after seeing the sheer amount of debris between the radiators. Dedicated to your Porsche needs Design 911 supply car parts, spares and accessories, to both retail and to the trade. Our car product and accessory range includes brakes, exhausts, tyres, wheels and panels and interiors. #Porsche #ServiceCentre #Essex www.design911.co.uk I wasn't overly impressed with the fit or how they attach and wish I had done what Alex has done above.

My condensers are still like new 12 years / 90k miles later and the car's my daily.

Was it a bumper off job to do it? I'd like to have a grille of some sort - but am not a great automotive DIY'er!

POST 13Original post

The kit was from Design911 for about £90. A nice video was supplied here: Bumper does not need to be removed.

Had these on my 2010 Boxster... good quality and very easy fitment if a little flimsy.
