Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have a 2000 996 3.4l and I am chasing info on aftermarked turbo kits to suit. So far I'm not doing well. Can anyone offer advice to steer me in the right direction/s.

POST 2Original post

How did you get on with your turbo search Steve? I think Fitzgeralds may know a bit on the subject. Beware of running to much boost if its a bolt on kit without lowering your comp ratio. Good luck.

POST 3Original post

My 2c worth, trade on a later GT3 or C4S. Alternately, it's a shame to alter a original car, but I'd go for a US based supercharger kit that bolts on. Less hastle than a Turbo.Excellence magazine is a good source of info for supercharged Porsches.

POST 4Original post

Send Spence a PM and ask a few questions. He is very knowledgable on the subject having turbo charged his own car. You can get good power gains with both systems.
