Car: 2006 911 Carrera S 1st Symptom: Sport button doesn't work 2nd Symptom: Seat heaters don't work I suspect they are electrical in nature but I really don't know for sure. Hoping one of you P-car hero's can help lend some insight here. This is my first Porsche (life long dream) and have had the car for just 40 days now. I'm taking into a Porsche dealer for an oil change in about 13 days but hoping I can learn from this forum 1st.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

It is possible that the electrical system (battery voltage) was fully discharged? This could adversely affect the coding in some vehicle's control modules. Contact a Porsche service advisor and they may be able to confirm. If this is the case, they would have to reinitialize the affected control modules. It is good practice to connect a trickle charger if the battery should need to be disconnected.
