Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Anyone know if this is a known issue - the lowermost (of nine?) horizontal section of my 991.1 engine lid vent grill comes loose easily.  I can push it back in place however dread returning from a drive to find it's left for good.  There doesn't appear to be any of the locking "teeth" missing and I don't see any obvious damage.  I guess someone at some point may have lifted the lid by the actual plastic vent instead of the more substantial side sections once to often and this is could the reason?  The car is still under Porsche extended warranty however no idea if this part is covered?

POST 2Original post

If under warranty I’d say it’s covered (with no obvious damage to it) The warranty is pretty comprehensive.
