Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hello gents Need help - how do you remove the center console between the driver and passenger seats? i.e., where the shift selector and handbrake are? I was able to remove the left and right side panels (they snap right off), the ashtray, the window switches and that's it. I am stumped. Anyone done this before? Thanks Al 2000 996

Check out the "Do it Yourself" tutorial at Renntech.org Do a search for "center console". It is not difficult. I broke the console cover hinge and just did the repair using this DIY.
