If we had a 987, proclip would give us the option of mounting low on the center console near the shifter..... Or high on the dash near the vents. But we have a 986 and proclip only offers the lower mount. ProClip*Porsche*Boxster*2000*852428*|*Brodit Does anyone know another similarly professional solution?

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Very cool. Thanks!
Re: Better cellphone mounts? This may not be on point if you want a holder that lets you grab your phone for calls, but if you have Bluetooth or want the phone for nav or music, here is a 2-minute, $0 contender: Tools: Pliers Materials: Old hanger This is the luxury model with plastic tubing for padding: With the right bend, it spring-loads the phone against the nav screen. Works on 986/7's from above, 981's from below.
Re: Better cellphone mounts? Cool. No nav screen in our 986. That would be the stereo face. But in the right vehicle.... And I hope no one in their right mind is going to grab their phone while piloting! Hands free is arriving alive.
