Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
25 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

First world problems...
" Can you guys do me a favor and show me what yours looks like?"
This made me laugh but hey, I wish I could even afford something like that.

For sure. What I also find funny is they are dealing with cap issues just like we do! Some things never change.

You could just buying something a bit older then? Like this one
Oh that's just sad. What has become -- and what will become -- of 911 owners.
This all began with the 991... they're like... "Hey, how did you get your plastic cover and purge fans so clean and black?" Be thankful to be a 996 owner where you can still "pop the hood" and really work on our engines. Something simple like a filter or belt change is major service for those guys.

Could be worse. The one-eyed man is king in the land of the blind. The 911 is still rear-engined, manual, pure ICE. For now. Besides, I like to admire the 327 V8 in the 1967 Vette. But the 996 engine bay isnt really beautiful. Sounds beautiful though.
I like the fact you can still see it, and beauty is in the eye of the beholder…..
Yeah...like this

...and your caps are perfectly in line.😬

Thats clean!
I should revisit the 67 Vette comment I made. I think Ferrari and Dodge Viper have some of the best looking engines from the outside anyway.
@Mike Murphy Pics of the 67?

Im **** that way But like to think, The carpet matches the drapes.

Well, its not mine, its a buddys. And its a 66 C2 327/350 numbers matching survivor. And no pics of the engine compartment either.
Nice car but I 'am impress with that lawn.

The car was natively from Oregon. Now in Chicagoland.
The view of the outside is better anyway. My vote goes to the 997, followed by the 992. The 964 and 996 tie for my 3rd place vote.
I got a good chuckle out of that. So sad considering our engine look so tiny in there.

I think it'd be sick if 911's had a removable interior cowl like the Caymans do that gives you engine top access. Sadly, besides the Targa it's not like we can just plop the rear glass out.

True and that would be helpful.
