Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

Now that I've switched out my shifter knob, I have a perfectly good stock piece that just needs a bit of TLC before I stash it away. Has anyone here tried to freshen up the top coin (pattern & numbers)? I could just start hunting down different kinds of black paint, but I thought that I'd ask first, in case someone else here has experience with this highly technical issue.

For sure, that knob needs looking after. -Haha. You can upgrade the lok for sure. If you can't fix it, replace it. Just keep it Porsche, and you can't go wrong. It's just we touch it so much, should be at its best. It was one of my first things. For me ot was a new pdK steering wheel, PCCM+ and a brand new knob. All things [we] notice and need to be the best to enjoy every time we drive. I was able to do this on a Tiptronic, your stick shift will be bad *** when done.
