I recently sold my 06 CaymanS and replaced it with an 03 996TT. I love the car...except the seat is killing me (comfort wise). I had no issue with the Cayman seat, but I just can't take this seat for much longer. My question I need help with: 1. Does anyone know if the standard, non-sport seat used in an 06 CaymanS is the same standard seat in a similiar year 997? 2. Has anyone done a 996 to 997 swap? I'm hearing that the electrical is not plug and play...but would like to confirm that. Thanks much. Bill

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
