Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi all. So what do people think about buying an import 996 TT. This one look waaaaay too good to be true. So I'm guessing there has to be something wrong with it. Apart from being yellow that is! . http://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/porsche-911-2004-13233234?base=1216&vertical=Car&cr=0&eapi=2&__N=1216%204294696630%204294678014%201246%201247%201252%201282%204294963765%204294963707&num=15&silo=Stock&Range=Year:1998,Max%7CPrice:Min,100000~1&sort=~Price So what do people think? Is it worth it for the savings?? Cheers Jed

POST 2Original post

Jed that is a great colour. Speed Yellow is perfect for a TT!!! For years now we have seen private import 911s in Australia. So what is the difference? These are out of Stuttgart and are comply to Australian standards. If the price is low enough, the condition acceptable and it does well on the PPI then it could be a goer!

POST 3Original post

Wow that is cheap , just bought a uk import myself , that is only 2 thirds the price , must have issues

POST 4Original post

Wow, that is cheap. Something does not seem right. But if it is, great find.

POST 5Original post

Not a fan of the yellow, but it would look great with a matt black wrap on it. I saw a 997 911 on church st Richmond yesterday that had a well applied wrap on it. It looked fantastic.

He / she sounds very confident and open to inspection. If your looking it's perhaps worth the next stage.
